Opposition working against aam admi on FDI: Congress (I)

Opposition parties by having recently raised political storm over government’s FDI proposal and stalling the Parliament proceedings, have demonstrated that they are working against interests of aam admi.  Neither concept of FDI nor FDI in retail is unfamiliar in the present age of global market.  Congress (I) has said produce of many farmers in northern Indian states get rotten either because want of buyer or at times remunerative prices are not available thus leading farmers to suffer economic loss. While farmers have to sell potatoes as low as at the rate of Rs 1 per KG, the same are sold in the market at Rs 10 per packet of 50 grams. To bridge this disparity and to help farmers get fair remunerative prices for their produce FDI is necessary, said Congress (I).  But sadly opposition parties have indulged in murky politics by spreading misinformation about FDI instead of thinking of the larger benefit of the farmer/consumers, said Congress (I).
