Congress General Secretary Rahul Gandhi is always bothered about the pathetic state of affairs of Uttar Pradesh, the most populous state in the country. He, being the MP from Amethi in UP, did try to bring in more and more development projects in the state as well as in his constituency. During his last campaigning in the state also Rahul Gandhi had shared his concern with the people.
“Your government has tied your hands, it is not letting you move ahead, not letting you work and develop the state. The state government is responsible for the lack of industries in the state. They are responsible for driving away the industries from the state. Criminals not let any kind of industry grow. They force the industries to work according to them, I have seen this in Amethi also,” had said Rahul Gandhi during his campaign.
“I belong to the family which has never moved backwards, which has never gone back on its words. You know that when any member of my family had decided to do anything, he does it. Be it the freedom struggle, the division of Pakistan or taking India to the 21st century”, he had added.
Exhorting the youth Rahul Gandhi had remarked “UP can once again lead the nation and that’s why I am here. The young generation can do it. The youth of the state wants to develop, they want employment and they want to move forward”.
Encouraging the youngsters the Congress MP also said, “It is your duty to work for a change in the state. To bring development, prosperity and a change in the state you will have to come ahead, you will have to lead from the front. And I am here to work with you to achieve the goal. We will together bring back the lost glory of the state”.
“Earlier the states used to follow Uttar Pradesh. They used to look at the roads, electricity, education and opportunities as a model and followed UP. But look what has happened now? All other states arte using the manpower of UP to develop, but UP itself is lagging behind in the race,” he added.
“Industries are closed, employment opportunities are not available, what has happened to our state. This can be changed only by the youth power. I am again warning other political parties that Rahul Gandhi is not here for elections. Rahul Gandhi is here for a long time now and he is not alone, the youth of the state are with him. The youth of the state has decided to change the scenario of the state and no one can stop us from changing the state now,” further said Rahul Gandhi.
