Launching a scathing attack on BJP for blocking the passage of constitutional Lokpal bill in the Parliament, Congress (I) General Secretary Rahul Gandhi has said that Congress (I) would not rest until strong law on Lokpal Bill is passed in the parliament and becomes a reality. “BJP was crying for bringing Lokpal Bill and fanning Anna Hazare movement to discomfit UPA government on this issue. But when time came for passing Lokpal Bill it pressed red button to defeat the bill”, said Rahul Gandhi while campaigning for Congress in the state of Uttar Pradesh. Now the people in this country people have witnessed the real face of BJP, said Rahul Gandhi. The Congress leader reiterated that while Congress (I) is working hard to bring on board all the parties to end corruption BJP is not interested in doing so. Appealing the people not to trust BJP and its ilk, Rahul Gandhi requested them to support Congress (I) to form government in UP. The Congress General Secretary promised them that Congress (I) would provide responsive and good governance.
