Rahul Gandhi: Congress (I) to provide responsive govt. in UP

Congress General Secretary Rahul Gandhi who addressed a number of public rallies in Uttar Pradesh as part of his Congress campaign had been successful to ensure an upsurge for his party, Congress. He sought support for the Congress as the 22 years exposing the 22 years misrule by the non-Congress rules which destroyed the state.

Congress General Secretary assured that Congress (I) will provide responsive pro-poor government in Uttar Pradesh.  It will be receptive and will attend to the issues of the people, said Rahul Gandhi while addressing public meetings in UP for the upcoming Assembly elections. Rahul Gandhi said that BJP, BSP and SP have been asking for people’s vote by showering blind promises. But the people know that their promises are only fake and they did not fulfill any of them over the last two decades. But the Congress (I)-led UPA government has always been committed to deliver its promises and have brought a number of welfare schemes and policies for the benefit of the poor. Rahul Gandhi listed out policies of MNREGA, NRHM, Janani Sauraksha Yojana, Sarva Shiksha Abhyan and Mid Day Meals. These programs have enormously benefited the people, claimed the Congress leader. Rahul Gandhi also informed that Congress (I) implemented RTI and RTE polices after having identified the rights of the people. ““Our credentials prove that Congress (I) alone can provide a pro-poor and responsible government in UP”, claimed Rahul Gandhi.
