Congress General Secretary RahulGandhi while talking at various public meetings in Uttar Pradesh is successful to fill in a positive energy inside the Congress workers and supporters in the state. During his public speeches he sought support for the Congress as the 22 years non-Congress misrule blocked the process of development in Uttar Pradesh.
Congress (I) General Secretary Rahul Gandhi also promised that Congress (I) will definitely provide a responsive and responsible government in Uttar Pradesh. It will be receptive and will be committed to address the issues of the people, said Rahul Gandhi.
The Congress leader asserted that BJP, BSP and SP have been betraying people by giving empty promises but the past experiences prove that they did not fulfill any of them. On the contrary Congress-led UPA government always maintain regular touch with the common man and after realising their troubles have introduced a number of welfare schemes/ policies for the poor. Rahul Gandhi cited examples of MNREGA, NRHM, Janani Sauraksha Yojana, Sarva Shiksha Abhyan and Mid Day Meals. The Congress General Secretary claimed that these programs have benefited the poor in a big way. Further, Congress (I) brought RTI and RTE to empower the people. Thus, “Our credentials prove that Congress (I) alone can provide responsive government in UP”, said Rahul Gandhi.
