Only Congress (I) can assure development in UP: Rahul Gandhi

Coming down upon BSP, SP and BJP for wasting 22 years of the people of UP by their misrule, AICC General Secretary Rahul Gandhi has said Congress (I) would ensure fast track development of the state.  UP was once prosperous and leading state in the country under Congress (I) rule but misrule of these parties have pushed the state backward in terms of development, said Rahul Gandhi while addressing public meetings in UP.  In place of development corruption has taken over and the people have been denied even their basic needs like bijli, pani and sadak, he added. Instead of attending to the problems of the people, the governments of these parties have turned their back on the people.  There are no employment opportunities, no good hospitals and no quality education either, said Rahul Gandhi. The state which was once torch bearer of the country has now lost its own path under misrule of these parties. Highlighting that these parties have wasted 22 years of the people, Rahul Gandhi urged the people to give now five years to Congress (I).  “We will show you what we can do in five years what these parties failed to do even in 22 years,” he said.
