Rahul Gandhi: We’ll ensure progress of Uttar Pradesh

Blaming Mulayam Singh Yadav for ruling the state thrice as chief minister without bringing any appreciable change in the state, Congress (I) General Secretary Rahul Gandhi has said that Congress (I) will ensure progress in UP.  The people and youth of the state will not have to leave their home state to earn their livelihood in other states, said Rahul Gandhi while addressing a public meeting in Mainpuri on February 21 for the ongoing Assembly elections.  Since there are no jobs in the state the youth have to perforce leave their hearth and home to seek employment in other states, he further said and added that in states like Maharashtra youth of UP are  ill treated.  This situation has come about due to faulty policies of governments of BSP, SP and BJP which have been ruling the state by indulging in caste based identity politics. Highlighting that Congress (I) Party would generate employment opportunities for the youth, Rahul Gandhi made a strong appeal to the people to vote for Congress (I) to bring progress in their state.  He assured that Congress (I) would put the state on the path of progress by launching infrastructure projects.  This would ensure jobs for the youth and overall development of the state, he added.
