Congress encouragement of scientists puts country ahead

Congress from the very beginning has been encouraging scientific activities in India. Congress governments have been gradually increasing expenditure on Research and Development with a result that our scientists are scoring achievements in almost every field of science.  Medical kits have been developed. Nuclear medicine is being used for treatment of various kinds of ailments. Oceanography has helped locate new sources of fossil fuels in high-seas. Recently Indian Space Research Organization successfully launched PSLV-16 into the space.  This is yet another successful achievement of our scientists, of our scientific community. Congress party took that occasion to convey its greetings to the entire team, its appreciation of the work that has been done by the entire team at ISRO and the scientific community of the country. Congress government would like to assure the scientific community that it will actively continue to support their scientific endeavors by liberal increase in R&D expenditure. Scientific communities will always remain close to the heart of Congress Party and the government.
