BJP-led NDA government masterminded plot allotment scam: Congress

The NDA government gave away prime plots in the heart of the nation’s capital to the RSS, the VHP and affiliates of the Sangh Parivar. All these were allotted at an average price much below the market rate. The tiny Jhandewalan office of the Samarth Shiksha Samiti, an affiliate of the Rashtriya Swayamsewak Sangh got land in its name in at least seven prime locations in less than three years. Almost every affiliate organisation of the RSS, including the BJP itself, the Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (the party’s student wing) and the Vishwa Hindu Parishad were among the beneficiaries of land allotment. For example, the Laghu Udyog Bharti, who’s "Margdarshak" is RSS Chief K. S. Sudarshan, was allotted 571.2 square yards plot at Kotla Road, Rouse Avenue, in New Delhi. Other organizations, like the Vaish Aggarwal Education Society also got 1.9 acres land due to the organization’s proximity with Union Minister Vijay Goel, who is also the society’s General Secretary.
