Congress Vice President Rahul Gandhi held a meeting to do direct interactions with the communities to incorporate their views and suggestions in party’s manifesto for the next Lok Sabha polls. Rahul Gandhi held consultations with representatives from various minority communities, including Muslims, as part of its exercise to include demands and aspirations of sections of people in its 2014 election manifesto. “It is narrow elite, which constitutes the political establishment and each party is run by a narrower group," he had said, promising to open the system.
